130 years young…
…The Bank B&B is a building steeped in history and was originally built in 1891 to house The London Chartered bank which became the London Bank of Australia, then the English Scottish Australian Bank Company.
When the Bank departed in 1942 the building was taken over by Goldsborough Mort (which became an amalgamation of Younghusband Ltd, Elder Smith and Goldsborough Mort) until it was sold to Mr Kyle Smith in 1972 where it has been ever since, housing 3 generations of the Smith family.
Now owned by Kyle’s daughter and her husband, the Bank has been refreshed for those on the lookout for a relaxing luxury getaway.
